We bought this beautiful slice of Texas in 2004 with a dream—and four young children in tow. What began as The Hideaway Ranch and Retreat quickly became not just a business, but the backdrop for raising our family and connecting with others. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming guests from all walks of life—many of whom return again and again. We’ve watched families laugh around campfires, couples reconnect under starry skies, and kids discover the simple joy of spotting deer at sunrise. These shared memories have become the heart of what we do and why we do it.
